Friendly staff, clean, comfortable and private. I like how the rooms were more like condos where you didn't hear neighbor and hallway noise. Enjoyed having small kitchen.
Room could have been slightly cleaner. Surface and easily visible places were clean, but fold out sofa bed full of crumbs and behind restroom door, places like that were not cleaned.
I really liked the fact that it like being in a condo. The things that really impressed me were: 1 - a second floor loft with the bed (that was amazing) 2 - a sitting area for watching tv (that had a fireplace) 3 - a full kitchen All the comforts of home. I almost forgot about the internet. I stayed there expecting to pay more for internet but it was included. That was a very pleasant surprise. We have 2 rounds of multi- meetings in Madison Heights every year and I will stay at The Residence from now on.
The only thing I didn't like was how forcefully the doors would shut if not manually controlled. If you just let the door shut on its own the whole building would shake .. physically and literally.
